This year’s keynote speaker is Dr. Dominica McBride of Become Inc., who will be addressing building empathy in one’s child. The event is open to all parents. Taking place at 6:00 p.m., the event will be raising money for the JVS Women to Work program as well as other programs or services that support women seeking jobs. Honorary Chair Camille Walker Banks will be giving the keynote speech. Other speakers will also be present at the event, including recent graduates of the JVS Women to Work program. CODE Legal Aid has been named as this year’s Live From Babylon beneficiary for the work they have done with the ACLU for community members at risk of deportation.
