CHAI time CHALDEANS CONNECTING COMMUNITY EVENTS IN AND AROUND METRO DETROIT JUNE 2018 Friday, June 2 West Bloomfield Youth Assistance (WBYA), which works each year to steer local youth in positive directions, will offer the community a fun and engaging opportunity to support the organization on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 5pm-9:30pm. WBYA will host a Food Truck Rally in partnership with Orchard Mall. The Food Truck Rally will be held outdoors at the Orchard Mall in West Bloomfield, 6337 Orchard Lake Rd. This family friendly event will be open to all with free entry and parking. The evening will include live music, food trucks, a beer/wine tent, free bounce houses, games, and so much more. Saturday, June 2 Walk for Charity: Join the Children’s Leukemia Foundation of Michigan Saturday, June 2 at the Detroit Zoo to help thousands of Michigan families dealing with leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood related disorders. Hosted at the Detroit Zoo, the event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A minimum fundraising goal of per person is required for everyone six years or older.
