tell us about your first holy communion Join us in celebrating with these community members I feel so blessed now. – Amelia Kashat I loved that my family and I got to go to mass once a week and that we got to learn about participating during mass with Maser, and that I learned to confess my sins. We also got together with all my aunts and uncles and cousins and had a fun lunch. – Bailey Nazhat Kassab I loved that we got to take the body of Christ. I loved going to church and learning our prayers in Chaldean, and learning and singing the songs during mass. My first Holy Communion is very important and it feels very good because I took Jesus’ body and blood into my body. My favorite part of my communion was my party! – Cameron Delly Wow, I will never forget that feeling! – Isabella Marougi Getting the body of Christ was important. And getting to drink the wine for the first time was really exciting, but it didn’t taste very good. – Ella Kizi I loved tasting the real Eucharist. Also, dancing and celebrating with my cousins was really fun. – Reese Kizi I loved receiving Jesus and learning all the prayers in Chaldean. – Nikolas Sesi I loved learning more about Jesus in my catechism classes and receiving the Eucharist.
