But the primary election can be just as, if not more, important. That’s when voters get to narrow down a large field of candidates to one from each political party, who then square off in November. The primary election is on Tuesday, August 7, and a number of Chaldeans – more than ever before seen — are running for various offices. We profile these men and women on the following pages — and encourage everyone to get out the primary vote.
