EVENT 1 2 3 4 West Bloomfield Group Tours the Chaldean Cultural Center PHOTOS BY ALEX LUMELSKY A group from the Jewish community and West Bloomfield leadership visited the Chaldean Cultural Center inside Shenandoah Country Club on Saturday, August 5. This was the first of a series of events for the year-long Chaldean Story project, made possible with support from Michigan Humanities Grants. Guests enjoyed a guided tour of the museum with a history lesson by Executive Director, Weam Namou. The event, coordinated by Sharkey Haddad of the Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce, included a luncheon and discussion. Sharkey is one of the project advisors for the Chaldean Story initiative. 1.
